Maxwell Colette Gallery is pleased to be included in Fountain Art Fair for its 2013 debut in Chicago. Celebrated as the first of a new, influential generation of alternative fairs, Fountain is reinterpreting the concept of the art fair experience and paving a new path to the future in today’s market.
In the spirit of this iconoclastic fair, Maxwell Colette Gallery will showcase paintings and sculpture from the cutting edge of the post-graffiti and post-street art scenes. Noted Italian graffiti artist PEETA will be represented by two of his sculptural canvases. HENSE, Mario Gonzalez Jr, and Don't Fret will each show an abstract painting on wood. Brooklyn-based artists ASVP and Hellbent will each display their signature styles on canvas pieces. And finally, Alecks Cruz will debut two of his letterform sculptures, one cardboard and one wooden.
